  Job Description:

  The main "VMC CAM Programming Engine, Precision Milling Toolpath Creator, Fixture Integration Anchor & Milling Accuracy Guardian" for our manufacturing and machining operations is the VMC Programmer in Manufacturing Vertical Machining Center CAM Programming, G-Code / M-Code Authoring, Multi-Axis Milling Optimisation & Manufacturing Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to convert 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models into highly optimised, accurate, and safe CNC machine programs (G-Code/M-Code) for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis Vertical Machining Centers, while Operations Directors, Manufacturing Managers, and Chief Technology Officers (CTO) set macro production goals, capital equipment investments, quality standards, and operational frameworks.

   

  Key Skills: 

  VMC CAM Software & CAD Model Translation Mastery: Expertise in 2D/3D CAD design systems and sophisticated CAM programming platforms for complicated surface machining and part geometry extraction.

  G-Code/M-Code Authoring & VMC Controller Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of controller systems, macro programming, subroutines, and manual G-code/M-code editing.

  Cutting Tool Technology & GD&T Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of high-speed machining (HSM) techniques, chip load calculations, milling tool materials and coatings, fixture mechanics, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5 regulations.

  Shop Floor Prove-Out & Problem-Solving Capability: Excellent practical expertise configuring VMC machines, establishing work coordinate systems, securely proving out new programs, and resolving dimensional drift, surface polish problems, and machining chatter on milled slots, pockets, and 3D shapes.
