  Responsibilities:

  Electronic Circuit & PCB Design: Create schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using EDA tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle) to ensure signal integrity and thermal management. Design, simulate, and prototype analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits.

  Embedded Systems & Hardware Integration: For industrial and product applications, program and integrate microcontrollers, microprocessors, sensors, communication interfaces, and firmware modules.

  Electronic Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Maintain complicated electronic control boards, power supplies, drives, automated test equipment, and instrumentation by performing preventive, predictive, and component-level breakdown maintenance.

  Testing, Validation, and Quality Assurance: Use diagnostic tools to conduct functional testing, environmental stress testing, burn-in testing, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) compliance testing for electronic assemblies.

  Root Cause Analysis and Component Sourcing: Identify component failures, apply 8D/5-Why approaches to analyse root causes, find substitute or outdated electronic components, and oversee the life cycles of the Bill of Materials.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Mastery of Circuit Design and Hardware Engineering: in-depth knowledge of power electronics, analogue and digital circuit design, PCB layout design concepts, grounding methods, and component selection standards.

  Embedded Systems & Firmware Proficiency: The ability to program microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC, AVR) in C/C++, debug hardware-software interfaces, and work with communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, SPI, I2C).

  Advanced practical expertise with electronic test instruments (Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Logic Analysers, Signal Generators, Multimeters, SMD Soldering/Rework Stations, Spectrum Analysers).

  Standards & Quality Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of RoHS/REACH compliance standards, ESD control procedures, CE/FCC certification requirements, and IPC standards.
