  Responsibilities:

  Daily Production Execution & Shift Management: Oversee shift operations on assembly, fabrication, or machining lines to reliably meet daily production goals while upholding high standards of quality.

  Capacity Planning & Line Balancing: To remove bottlenecks, reduce idle time, and maximise cycle times across workstations, conduct line balancing, workload distribution, and time-and-motion studies.

  Downtime Minimisation & OEE Improvement: Monitor machine downtime, pinpoint the underlying reasons for malfunctions or setup delays, work with maintenance teams to find quick fixes, and consistently promote OEE improvement.

  Process Control & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Make that shop floor technicians follow 5S workplace discipline, safety regulations, Work Instructions (WIs), SOPs, and process parameters to the letter.

  Scrap Reduction & Continuous Improvement: To cut down on material waste, get rid of scrap, and improve assembly flow, take the lead on Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma projects.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Manufacturing Operations & Line Management: Strong operational expertise in production planning, assembly line management, machining operations (CNC/VMC/Manual), fabrication, or process manufacturing.

  Lean Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering: Hands-on application of Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, SMED, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping) and line balancing techniques.

  Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving: Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D Report) to resolve chronic line bottlenecks and quality defects.

  Safety & SOP Enforcement: Uncompromising commitment to shop-floor safety standards, EHS protocols, PPE compliance, and process quality limits

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
