  Job Description

  The primary "Drafting Integrity Guardian, Technical Drawing Specialist, Mechanical Design Lead, 2D/3D Modelling Execution Lead & Design Integration Lead" for our engineering and manufacturing operations is the AutoCAD Design Engineer Mechanical Drafting, Product Design, GD&T, CAD Modelling & Operational Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to create, edit, verify, and oversee detailed 2D drafting schematics, 3D CAD models, bill of materials (BOMs), assembly layouts, and fabrication drawings while Engineering Directors, Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Plant Heads, and R&D Managers set broad project requirements, manufacturing tolerances, capital expenditure budgets, and quality compliance frameworks.

   

  Key Duties

  2D Drafting, 3D CAD Modelling & Assembly Design: Using AutoCAD and 3D modelling platforms, interpret conceptual sketches, design briefs, and engineering specifications to produce very accurate 2D detail drawings, 3D models, fabrication layouts, piping/schematic diagrams, and assembly drawings.

  GD&T Application & Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis: In accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards, apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles; carry out tolerance stack-up calculations to guarantee smooth fit, interchangeability, and functional assembly of manufactured parts.

  Bill of Materials (BOM) and Technical paperwork: Create, verify, and keep up-to-date structural BOMs, component part lists, engineering change paperwork, material specifications, and manufacturing process notes.

  Engineering Change Order Management: Update master CAD databases and uphold stringent revision control procedures throughout enterprise repositories while processing, assessing, and carrying out Engineering Change Orders and Design Change Notices (DCNs) on time.
