  Responsibilities:

  Departmental Leadership & Reliability Strategy: Establish a high-performing culture of proactive maintenance, continuous improvement, and team accountability by giving the plant maintenance department general guidance, coaching, and strategic management.

  TPM, PM, and Predictive Maintenance Ownership: To extend the life of all shop-floor assets, implement and audit Total Productive Maintenance pillars, Preventive Maintenance schedules, and predictive technology.

  OEE Optimisation & Downtime Elimination: To permanently eliminate chronic equipment malfunctions, analyse production downtime metrics, compute OEE availability losses, and conduct structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) utilising 5-Why or FMEA approaches.

  CAPEX Execution, Cost Management, and Budgeting: Create and oversee the yearly maintenance Operating Expenditure (OPEX) budget, oversee the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for spare parts, assess capital equipment (CAPEX) upgrades, and oversee facility modification initiatives.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Plant Engineering & Reliability Mastery: Thorough understanding of TPM/RCM frameworks, power distribution systems, centralised utilities, and industrial machinery.

  Engineering Leadership & Team Management: Proven capacity to oversee mechanical and electrical supervisors, manage external engineering contractors, lead multi-shift maintenance teams, and promote interdepartmental cooperation with production and quality leaders.

  Financial and CAPEX/OPEX Literacy: Excellent financial knowledge for handling departmental operating budgets, assessing equipment ROI, negotiating vendor agreements, and managing the carrying costs of spare parts inventories.

  Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving: Proficiency in organised engineering problem-solving techniques to address intricate, multi-system electrical or mechanical malfunctions.

   

  Experience: 8 to 10 yrs
