  Job Description:

  The Production Engineer in Manufacturing Industries is responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and execution of shop-floor manufacturing processes to achieve productivity, quality, and delivery targets. Working closely with product design, tool room, quality, maintenance, and production planning (PPC) teams, this role focuses on cycle-time reduction, line balancing, process optimization, and implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques to eliminate process waste, lower operating costs, and maintain a safe production environment

   

  Key Skills: 

  Strong knowledge of core manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal fabrication, assembly lines, welding, casting, or molding).

  Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, time and motion studies, line balancing, 5S, and continuous improvement frameworks (Kaizen, SMED).

  Deep understanding of shop-floor technical documentation, engineering drawings, process routings, PFMEA, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

  Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for plant layout modification and fixture tweaks, alongside MS Excel for productivity analytics.

  Excellent cross-functional coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills to direct shift operators and department leads
