  Job Description:

  The AutoCAD Design Engineer in Manufacturing Industries is responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed 2D production drawings, mechanical layouts, schematics, and component designs. Working closely with product design teams, production engineers, tool room personnel, and quality control, this role translates conceptual designs and engineering specifications into clear, accurate manufacturing drawings adhering to GD&T and industrial drafting standards to ensure smooth fabrication and assembly

   

  Key Skills: 

  Advanced proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (including block creation, layer management, dynamic blocks, and dimensioning standards).

  Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), fit tolerances, and engineering drawing conventions.

  Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal bending/stamping, CNC machining, welding, casting, and assembly methods.

  Ability to interpret 3D CAD data or sketches and generate precise 2D drafting outputs.

  Basic experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) is an added advantage
