  Job Description:

  The AutoCAD Design Engineer is responsible for creating, modifying, and updating detailed 2D technical drawings, manufacturing layouts, assembly designs, and fabrication schematics. Working closely with Product Development, Tooling, and Manufacturing Engineering teams, this role transforms conceptual designs and engineering specifications into accurate production-ready drawings adhering to industry drafting standards

   

  Key Skills: 

  Advanced proficiency in 2D Drafting using AutoCAD (including dynamic blocks, layers, and sheet sets); exposure to 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo) is a plus.

  In-depth understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and international drafting standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI).

  Knowledge of core manufacturing processes (sheet metal fabrication, machining, casting, forging, injection molding).

  High attention to detail, spatial reasoning, and strong technical problem-solving capabilities

   

  Location: in and Around Chennai
