  Responsibilities:

  Plant Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: To reduce emergency downtime, identify, diagnose, and fix electrical issues with production lines, motors, high/low voltage switchgear, transformers, VFDs, control panels, and industrial machinery.

  Inspection, programming, and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, servo drives, and industrial communication protocols are all part of PLC, Automation & Control Systems Maintenance.

  Execution of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Perform thermography audits, insulation resistance testing, vibration/current analysis on motors and electrical panels, and scheduled electrical preventive maintenance procedures.

  Power Distribution & Energy Management: To maintain the best possible power factor and energy efficiency, keep an eye on the plant's power distribution systems, high-tension/low-tension panels, diesel generators, UPS systems, and capacitor banks.

  Electrical Safety & Compliance: Throughout the work floor, enforce stringent electrical safety measures, lockout/tagout protocols, statutory electrical inspector compliance, statutory earth resistance testing, and arc flash safety.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Expert technical knowledge of HT/LT switchgear, transformers, motors, star-delta/DOL starters, circuit breakers (ACB, VCB, and MCCB), and industrial wiring layouts.

  PLC, VFD, and Industrial Automation Proficiency: Real-world experience with sensor integration, automated control loop tuning, HMI fault detection, PLC ladder logic troubleshooting, and VFD parameterisation.

  Electrical Preventive Maintenance & Diagnostics: Practical competence to do relay testing, control panel wiring, thermal imaging audits, earth loop impedance checks, and insulation testing.

  Electrical Safety Standards & LOTO Discipline: thorough understanding of factory electrical safety regulations, national electrical codes, lockout/tagout procedures, and hazard mitigation.
