  Job Description:

  The principal "Material Sourcing Engine, Technical Procurement Specialist, Vendor Capability Assessor, Cost Optimisation Lead & Supply Chain Integration Specialist" in our manufacturing operations is the Purchase Engineer Direct & Indirect Material Procurement, Vendor Development, Negotiation, Supply Chain Analytics & Purchase Engineering Specialist. Your main responsibility is to locate, negotiate, acquire, and guarantee the timely delivery of raw materials, engineered components, machine spare parts, tooling, and indirect consumables needed for production lines, while Supply Chain Directors, Procurement Heads, Plant Managers, and Finance Leads create macro sourcing strategies, annual procurement budgets, vendor development targets, and cost-reduction roadmaps.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Engineering Procurement & Technical Drawing Interpretation: Strong comprehension of intricate mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), GD&T symbols, material grades, and heat treatment requirements for component procurement.

  Strong negotiating abilities to obtain the best material prices, credit terms, lead times, and long-term supplier agreement (LTA) conditions without sacrificing technical quality are necessary for techno-commercial negotiation and contract management.

  Vendor Development & Quality System Standards: Practical experience in supplier audits, vendor evaluation, and familiarity with quality frameworks such as ISO, IATF, APQP, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

  ERP Procurement Modules & Material Management: Expertise in using ERP procurement systems (SAP MM, Oracle SCM, Tally, or Infor) for inventory monitoring, vendor master changes, GRN reconciliation, and PO preparation.

   

  Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
