Job Description :

  • Production Engineer Manufacturing Engineering Job

    Job Description

Our manufacturing and assembly division's "Execution Engine" and "Output Catalyst" is the Production Engineer. Your major task is to convert raw engineering blueprints, production plans, and materials into completed things with optimum efficiency, minimum waste, and optimal throughput, while maintenance teams optimise machinery uptime and quality engineers enforce defect barriers. This entails controlling the distribution of labour during daily shifts, streamlining line layouts, applying lean manufacturing concepts, removing assembly bottlenecks, and promoting ongoing process enhancements. As the "Guardian of Shift Output Quotas, Cycle Time Reductions, Machine Utilisation Rates, and Shop Floor OEE Performance," you assume direct execution responsibility for manufacturing yields, tactical assembly line adjustments, and daily production targets.

    Responsibilities:

Daily Production & Target Execution: Oversee and keep an eye on daily shift production schedules to make sure output volume, yield rates, and delivery obligations are met or surpassed.

Line Balancing & Cycle Time Optimisation: To reduce bottlenecking and eliminate idle line friction, analyse assembly sequence stages, compute individual work station times, and balance operator workloads.

Lean Manufacturing & Waste Elimination: To eliminate process waste, implement typical lean toolkits such as 5S workspace layouts, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban replenishment cycles, and Kaizen continuous improvements.

Manpower Planning & Management: Lead daily shift floor briefings, manage operator skill matrices, organise, assign, and oversee shift labour layouts, and ensure standard work compliance.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Deployment: Create, maintain, and advise shop floor workers on visual factory management tools, process control standards, and unambiguous standard job instructions.

    Skills:

Industrial Engineering & Line Balancing Mastery: Comprehensive ability to set up work cell layouts, compute takt times, model assembly cycles, and balance high-frequency processing sequences.

Lean Toolset Implementation Competency: Real-world experience implementing pull systems, visual management controls, Kaizen events, and factory-level 5S schemes.

Process Mapping & Work Instruction Literacy: Demonstrated ability to translate intricate mechanical drawings and product invoices into logical, scannable assembly instructions and tool configurations.

Shop Floor Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to oversee, inspire, and resolve conflicts amongst supervisors, material handlers, and multi-skilled floor operators under pressure.

We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
