  Responsibilities:

  Practical Electronic Breakdown Repair & Soldering: In order to reduce machine downtime, respond quickly to shop floor breakdown calls by performing component-level diagnostics and soldering/desoldering rework (SMD and through-hole) on damaged control PCBs, power supply units (SMPS), relay boards, and electronic drive modules.

  Preventive and Routine Electronic Maintenance: Complete daily, weekly, and monthly electronic preventive maintenance (PM) checklists that include thermal checks on all electronic control panels, PCB surface cleaning, connection tightness checks, enclosure cooling fan inspections, and ESD workstation audits.

  Sensor Calibration & Instrumentation Setup: On automated production lines, install, test, align, and precisely calibrate industrial electronic sensors.

  Control Unit & Harness Wiring: Using circuit schematics and wiring diagrams as a guide, assemble, wire, crimp, and route precision electronic wire harnesses, signal cables, connection pins, and auxiliary electronic control modules.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Practical Electronic Repair & Soldering Mastery: Excellent practical soldering and desoldering abilities for through-hole and surface-mount devices (SMD), as well as the ability to understand electronic schematics and put together electronic control harnesses.

  Proficiency with Electronic Testing and Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency with digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, IC testers, power supply, and logic probes, among other electronic bench diagnostic tools.

  Industrial Sensors & Micro-Electronics Knowledge: A solid practical grasp of sensors, encoders, display HMIs, PLC I/O wiring, and electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, optocouplers, ICs).

  ESD Protection & Shop-Floor Safety Standards: Extensive understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) regulations, clean component handling, ESD grounding safety procedures, and safe working practices near sensitive micro-electronic circuits and panel modules.
