• Python Developer FastAPI & Microservices

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Backend Application & API Architecture: To support online and mobile frontends, design, develop, and implement high-throughput RESTful and gRPC APIs using contemporary Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).

  Asynchronous Processing & Microservices: Use Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Apache Kafka to create distributed message processing systems, event-driven architectures, and background task pipelines.

  Database Integration & ORM Optimisation: Create effective database queries, oversee schema migrations, and optimise relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases using Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) models (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).

  Code Quality, Testing, and Security: Write clear, PEP 8-compliant Python code; put in place thorough unit/integration test suites (pytest, unittest); and implement security procedures (input validation, rate restriction, token authentication).

  DevOps & CI/CD Collaboration: Write infrastructure scripts, set up environment variables, package apps using Docker containers, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Proficiency in Python 3.x, sophisticated data structures, concurrency models (asyncio, multithreading, multiprocessing), and contemporary frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask) are essential.

  API Design & Integration Engineering: Practical expertise building, documenting (OpenAPI/Swagger), and safeguarding microservices, third-party API integrations, and scalable web services.

  Database and ORM Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of ORM abstraction layer optimisation (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM), relational database design, SQL querying, and caching techniques (Redis, Memcached).

  Test-driven development (TDD), pytest suites, mocking, static code analysis tools (flake8, black, mypy), and containerisation platforms (Docker) are all necessary for testing and CI/CD automation.
