  Job Description

  Duties:

  Quality Assurance & Process Control (SPC): Create and manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, compute process capability indices, monitor and audit shop-floor manufacturing processes, and make sure Quality Control Plans (QCP) and Control Plans are followed.

  Core Tools, PPAP, and APQP Execution: Use Automotive/Industrial Core Tools, such as APQP, PPAP (Level 1-5 submittal packages), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, and Measurement Systems Analysis, to oversee quality documentation for new product releases and engineering modifications.

  Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action: employ 8D, 5-Why Analysis, and Fishbone Diagrams to drive organised problem-solving for internal rejects and customer complaints; employ Poka-Yoke and robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to stop fault recurrence.

  Dimensional Inspection & Metrology: Use precise measurement equipment in accordance with GD&T callouts; supervise first-off sample inspections, in-process checks, and final product sign-offs.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Manufacturing Quality Assurance & Control Mastery: Thorough understanding of shop-floor quality control methods, ISO/IATF quality standards, sampling strategies, and quality assurance systems.

  Excellent Core Tools & Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Full proficiency in engineering drawing callout interpretation, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and core tools.

  Mastery of organised root cause analysis methodologies, such as the 8D Problem Solving approach, 5-Why Analysis, Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, and CAPA validation.

  Metrology, Gauging & Inspection Systems: Practical experience with surface profile testers, height gauges, micrometres, CMM programming and operation, and calibration management systems.
