  Responsibilities:

  Complete Payroll Processing and Salary Calculation: Perform monthly gross-to-net payroll runs for corporate, plant, and contract employees; precisely compute basic pay, deductions, overtime, bonuses, variable incentives, allowances, and arrears.

  Attendance & Leave Reconciliation: Before locking payroll inputs, import, verify, and audit monthly attendance data, biometric loggings, leave records, shift allowances, and loss-of-pay (LOP) days from HRIS/biometric systems.

  Statutory Compliance & Tax Administration: Compute, deduct, and make sure that all statutory compliance components such as Provident Fund (PF/EPFO), Employee State Insurance (ESIC), Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and Income Tax/Tax Deducted at Source are remitted and filed on time each month.

  Processing Full and Final (F&F) Settlements: Determine and handle F&F settlements for departing workers, confirming leave encashment, notice period pay or recovery, gratuity, outstanding loans or advances, and providing lucid settlement statements.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Mastery of Payroll Processing and Compensation Administration: in-depth practical understanding of overtime regulations, compensation accounting concepts, reimbursement administration, salary structuring, and gross-to-net salary computation.

  Tax Regulations and Statutory Compliance Expertise: Full comprehension of income tax regimes, PT slabs, PF/ESI wage caps, Form 16 preparation, and statutory filing portals.

  Proficiency in Payroll Software and HRIS: Practical expertise with payroll and HRIS systems.

  Financial Reconciliation & Confidentiality: Strict adherence to employee compensation privacy and confidentiality procedures, exceptional numerical acumen, data correctness, attention to detail, and preparedness for financial audits.
