• Quality Manager High Productivity in Industry

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Plant-Wide QMS Governance & Audit Management: Conduct all internal, customer, and registrar third-party quality audits; establish, manage, and audit the factory QMS in strict compliance with ISO, IATF, or applicable industry standards.

  Customer Quality Alignment & PPAP/APQP Oversight: Act as the ultimate authority for product approval procedures (PPAP/FAIR), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), customer-specific requirement deployment throughout all manufacturing lines, and customer quality escalations.

  Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) & Scrap Reduction Leadership: Examine the financial effects of internal rejections, rework, and customer returns; support cross-functional Lean and Six Sigma projects to methodically reduce COPQ and meet plant PPM reduction goals.

  Supplier Quality & arriving Material Control: Manage the foundation for Supplier Quality Management, setting up vendor chargeback/scorecard systems, supplier auditing schedules, raw material specifications, and the severity of arriving inspections.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Executive control over plant-wide quality assurance, quality engineering concepts, inspection procedures, regulatory compliance, customer escalation management, and quality team leadership are all part of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Strategic Quality Leadership.

  Mastery in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Core Tools: A thorough understanding of AIAG Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC, as well as deep operational proficiency in ISO, IATF, or AS standards.

  Advanced capability analysis of process capability, control limits, capability studies, Design of Experiments (DOE), and leading DMAIC problem-solving projects are all part of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodology.

  Advanced Testing Standards and Metrology Architecture: thorough knowledge of calibration management, Gauge R&R, GD&T, and precision metrology equipment (CMM, profile projectors, non-destructive testing)
