• Manufacturing Engineer Lead Manufacturing Excellence

  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  Manufacturing Process Design & Production Line Layout: To attain desired cycle times, takt times, and throughput capacity, design, set up, validate, and optimize assembly lines, cell layouts, workstation ergonomics, and automated production processes.

  Design for Manufacturability & Assembly: Work together with R&D and product design teams in the early stages of design to assess new product releases, guaranteeing smooth manufacturability, fewer parts, better tooling routes, and lower unit production costs.

  Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: To reduce waste, cut scrap rates, and increase overall equipment effectiveness, lead continuous improvement projects utilising Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Poka-Yoke approaches.

  Process Risk Management and SOP Development: Conduct cross-functional sessions on Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, put risk mitigation mechanisms in place, draft comprehensive SOPs, and create visual work instructions for line operators.

  Tooling, Fixture & Automation Engineering: To increase operator safety, part quality, and repeatability, design, acquire, install, and qualify specialised assembly jigs, holding fixtures, press tooling, automated inspection stations, and robotics integration.

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
