  Focus Skills:

  Mastery of Medical Billing and Superbill Translation: Proficiency in the interpretation of hospital face sheets, surgical notes, physician encounter forms, superbills, and electronic medical records in a variety of medical specialities.

  Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS Coding and Modifiers: Strong grasp of medical language, code-to-diagnosis linking, diagnostic/procedural coding, modifier application guidelines, and National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) revisions.

  Medical Billing Software & Clearinghouse Proficiency: Practical experience using major EHR and Practice Management (PM) software as well as clearinghouse portals (Availity, Change Healthcare, Waystar).

  High-Speed Data Entry & Attention to Detail: High first-pass clean claim rates are maintained by exceptional alpha-numeric data entry speed, 10-key numeric keypad precision, careful verification practices, and zero-error tolerance.
