  Responsibilities:

  Manufacturing Quality Assurance & Inspection Oversight: Oversee and carry out in-process, final pre-dispatch, and incoming raw material inspection procedures, confirming component conformance with engineering drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications.

  APQP, PPAP, and QMS Implementation: In accordance with ISO/IATF standards, oversee APQP deliverables and create thorough PPAP dossiers for new product launches and engineering modifications.

  Statistical Process Control and Metrology Management: Manage gauge calibration schedules, conduct MSA studies, run precision metrology equipment, and do SPC evaluations on important parameters.

  Root Cause Analysis and CAPA Execution: Oversee organised problem-solving projects for consumer complaints and internal rejections, identifying strong containment measures, root causes, and long-term corrective and preventive measures.

  Supplier Quality Management & Process Audits: Conduct routine line process audits, examine supplier component lots, submit Supplier Corrective Action Requests, and assess vendor quality performance indicators.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Manufacturing Quality Assurance & Metrology Mastery: Practical knowledge of precision metrology tools, CMM report interpretation, and technical blueprint reading (GD&T per ASME Y14.5).

  Core Quality Tools: Advanced understanding of industrial and automotive quality standards, process capability analysis, control plan formulation, and core quality tool execution.

  Root Cause Analysis & Problem-Solving Capability: Extensive expertise in applying proven CAPA to stop defect recurrence, 5-Why analysis, Cause-and-Effect (Ishikawa) diagrams, and 8D problem-solving techniques.

  Execution of Audits and Compliance Discipline: expertise doing supplier audits, layer process audits (LPA), internal QMS audits, and enforcing shop-floor standard work compliance.
