  Education: Diploma/BE in Mech

  Location: In And Around Chennai

   

  Your Duties:

  Supervise daily shift operations, assign operators to workstations, and manage workforce deployment to achieve planned shift production targets.

  Conduct shift start-up meetings (toolbox talks), review safety instructions, assign daily job cards, and set operational priorities for line operators.

  Monitor shop-floor line speed, cycle times, and machine runtime, proactively identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks to prevent downtime.

  Enforce strict shop-floor quality protocols, verifying first-piece inspection clearances and partnering with Quality Supervisors to handle non-conforming parts.

  Coordinate with Maintenance and Tool Room teams during equipment breakdowns, facilitating fast repair turnaround and logging machine downtime causes.

  Ensure accurate shop-floor data logging, tracking shift output, scrap/rework quantities, material consumption, and operator attendance in ERP/MES logs.

  Enforce shop-floor Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S housekeeping standards, and proper PPE compliance across all workstations
