  Job Description

  Duties:

  Frontline Dimensional Inspection: Verify part measurements against layout sheets using common measuring tools such as vernier calipers, digital micrometers, snap gauges, and height gauges.

  Visual Defect Identification: To identify and classify cosmetic defects such as rust, plating cracks, welding spatter, deformation, and scratches, audit product surfaces under appropriate line illumination.

  Hourly Go/No-Go Sampling: To ensure that processing configurations remain constant, conduct routine cycle checks at assigned line stations using specialized plug and thread gauges.

  Receiving & Material Inwarding Checks: Before signing floor receiving receipts, confirm the arrival of supplier component batches by examining labels, tracking numbers, and box amounts.

  Quick Non-Conforming Part Segregation: Find defective parts right away, mark them with red or yellow quarantine tags, and remove the rejected parts from the clean assembly lines.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Precision Measuring Tool Operation: The ability to use hand-held inspection tools such as thread gauges, dial indicators, mechanical calipers, and micrometers.

  Visual Sorting & Aesthetic Auditing: Quickly identify surface pitting, color variations, burrs, and microcracks in large manufacturing batches with keen attention to detail.

  Industrial Blueprint & Checklist Reading: Excellent comprehension of typical quality inspection sheets, cross-section sketches, and basic 2D engineering drawings.

  Physical Defect Isolation Procedures: A solid grasp of structural material isolation boundaries and floor red-tag procedures.
