  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  Insurance Follow-Up & Call Execution: To look into unresolved claims that are more than 30 days old, make direct phone calls, use IVR portals, and check web portals for commercial and government payers.

  Claim Denial Analysis & Resolution: Examine denial codes and zero-pay EOBs/ERAs, identify the underlying reasons for claim denials, and take prompt corrective or resubmission action.

  Appeals & proof Preparation: Within the required timeframes, draft and send formal written appeals, requests for reconsideration, and packages of medical necessity proof to insurance payers.

  Payer Guideline & Timely Filing Compliance: To avoid uncollectable write-offs and bad debt transfers, keep an eye on payer-specific billing regulations, appeal guidelines, medical policies, and timely filing windows.

  Cross-Functional Cooperation & Trend Identification: To stop future claim denials, work together every day with the Charge Entry, Payment Posting, and Coding teams to identify recurrent front-end error trends.

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Any Basic Degree
