  Your Duties:

  Patient Demographic and Insurance Entry: Use practice management (PM) software to accurately register, validate, and update patient demographic information (Name, DOB, Address, Social Security Number, Guarantor) and insurance policy information (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary payers, Policy/Group numbers, Copay/Deductible amounts).

  Charge Posting & Superbill Processing: Ensure that all billable services, procedures, and supplies are fully recorded with no missing charges by posting professional and facility charges from encounter forms, superbills, electronic health records, and hospital logs.

  Coding and Modifier Verification: Apply the proper billing modifiers, check diagnosis-to-procedure links, and compare assigned CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes with medical data to ensure they are complete.

  Fee Schedule & Provider NPI Application: For each charge entry, apply the appropriate contracted fee schedules, facility/non-facility pricing regulations, rendering/billing provider NPI numbers, taxonomy codes, and place of service codes.
