  Responsibilities:

  Process & Product Quality Assurance: Establish line inspection standards, Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure inbound raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods meet technical engineering specifications.

  APQP & PPAP Execution: Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product launches, prepare and validate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation (Level 1–5), and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

  Defect Analysis & Root Cause Problem Solving: Investigate internal rejections and customer complaints; lead cross-functional teams in executing 8D, 5Why, and Fishbone root cause analyses to implement robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

  Supplier & In-House Audit Management: Conduct periodic process, product, and layered process audits (LPA); evaluate vendor quality performance, manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and drive supplier quality improvement plans.

  Quality Analytics & Metrics Tracking: Maintain master quality tracking spreadsheets, track First Pass Yield (FPY), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), scrap rate, customer PPM levels, and capability indices to guide continuous improvement initiatives.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Automobile, or Materials Engineering.

  Experience: 0 to 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer, QA/QC Specialist, or Process Quality Engineer in manufacturing environments (automotive, precision engineering, fabrication, or plastic moulding).

  Technical Mastery: ISO/IATF Quality Management Systems, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), 8D problem-solving methodology, GD&T, precision measuring instruments (CMM, Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge), and spreadsheet analytics

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
