  Location: In And Around Chennai

   

  Your Duties:

  Safely mount, align, secure, and unmount molds and tooling onto production presses using cranes, hoists, forklifts, and hand tools.

  Connect and inspect fluid lines (water cooling, oil lines), pneumatic connections, electrical hot runner cables, and hydraulic core pulls according to setup sheets.

  Set initial machine operational parameters (temperatures, clamping pressures, ejector stroke, cycle times) based on verified process documentation.

  Perform pre-run dry tests, safety check audits, and initial sample part drops to ensure proper mold clearance, knockout operation, and sequence timing.

  Conduct minor preventative maintenance, cleaning, greasing, and inspection of mold cores, cavities, guide pins, and platen surfaces during changeovers.

  Document mold changeover times, initial parameters, and report tooling damage, wear, or alignment issues to the Tool Room and Maintenance teams.

  Maintain organized mold storage areas, follow 5S workplace standards, and comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and heavy lifting safety protocols
