• Exceptional Volume Manufacturing Production Engineer

  Job Description:

  The "Execution Engine" and "Operational Conductor" of our manufacturing facility is the Production Engineer. Your main responsibility is to oversee and direct daily physical assembly and manufacturing operations converting raw material components, sub-assemblies, and metallurgical inputs into high-quality, completed industrial products while design engineers model abstract product frameworks in software suites and maintenance teams keep assets operational. As the "Guardian of Shift Output Targets, Line Balance Efficiencies, and Waste Elimination Protocols," you assume direct execution responsibility for managing workstation cycle times, assigning floor labour, monitoring raw material flow, and putting lean manufacturing techniques into practice.

   

  Key Duties:

  Daily Shop Floor & Shift Management: Ensure that all shift production goals are met safely and on time by supervising, directing, and allocating labour across assembly lines and machine blocks.

  Line Balancing & Cycle-Time Optimisation: Reduce operator idle times and reorganise work sequences to maximise overall throughput by analysing production lines using Time and Motion Studies.

  Lean Manufacturing & Waste Drawdown: Reduce material waste and layout friction by eliminating non-value-added stages using frameworks for continuous improvement.

  Root Cause Analysis & Yield Corrections: Use 8D, 5-Why, or Fishbone analytical techniques to quickly troubleshoot unforeseen line stoppages and quality issues in order to execute reliable engineering repairs.

  Capacity Planning and Resource Deployment: To ensure that line setups never run out of parts, work closely with the logistics and Production Planning and Control (PPC) teams to estimate material usage.
