  Your Duties:

  Charge Capture & Entry: Review patient superbills, charge tickets, operational schedules, and electronic medical records (EMR) to accurately enter clinical charge codes, service dates, units, and fee schedules into billing systems.

  Code Validation & Scrubbing: Verify CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM codes, and modifiers against medical documentation, NCCI edits, and payor coverage guidelines prior to claim transmission to eliminate coding errors.

  Demographic & Insurance Verification: Cross-check patient demographics, insurance coverage details, policy numbers, rendering/billing provider NPIs, and pre-authorizations to prevent registration-related claim rejections.

  Pre-Billing Error Resolution: Review claim scrubber rules, resolve front-end claim edits, correct missing information, and flag missing charge documentation to maintain high Clean Claim Rates (CCR).

  RCM Analytics & Ledger Tracking: Maintain operational tracking spreadsheets for daily charge volumes, dollar values, entry turnaround times (TAT), coding query logs, and pre-billing error trends
