• VMC Setter Production Readiness & Setup

  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  VMC Setup & Fixture Alignment: To achieve exact perpendicularity and parallelism, mount, align, and fasten hydraulic vices, toe clamps, modular tombstones, 4th-axis rotary tables, and bespoke fixtures onto VMC machine beds using dial test indicators.

  Tooling Assembly & Preset Calibration: Put together combinations of milling tools, measure tool projections, use optical z-axis presetters or edge finders to calibrate tool length offsets and radius correction, and enter data into CNC controllers.

  G-Code Program Verification & Dry-execute Execution: load VMC programs, check rapid tool motion clearances, execute air cuts and dry-runs with single-block execution, verify program blocks, and modify speeds and feeds to reduce vibration or collision hazards.

  TrialCut & First-Off PartApproval: Before batch production, carry out the first trial machining runs, use precision equipment to evaluate the first-off component's dimensions and surface polish, and obtain QA sign-off.

   

  Experience: 3 to 5 yrs

  Education: 12th, ITI or Diploma
