  Job Description:

  Our engineering and manufacturing division's "Drafting Anchor" and "Geometric Blueprint Guardian" is the AutoCAD Design Engineer. Your principal responsibility is to engineer, detail, and maintain the facility's definitive 2D layout drawings, sheet metal flat profiles, piping and instrumentation diagrams, electrical schematics, and production blueprints using AutoCAD, while 3D specialists manage intricate parametric component shapes. This covers production line footprints, floor-level assembly setups, and structural metal profile layouts. As the "Guardian of Tolerance Accuracy, Bill of Materials (BOM) Alignment, and Standard Drawing Sheet Control," you assume direct responsibility for converting engineering specifications into scannable, error-free documentation for assembly teams and fabrication technicians.

   

  Key Skills: 

  complex AutoCAD Software Proficiency: Complete technical mastery of the 2D AutoCAD environment, including model/layout space conversions, block attributes, geometric restrictions, complex plotting setups, and external references (Xrefs).

  Mechanical Drafting & Blueprint Literacy: The ability to use international engineering iconography, trace geometric tolerances, and comprehend multi-view blueprint design layouts.

  Metrology Equipment Competency: Excellent physical proficiency with laser tools, height verniers, analog/digital callipers, and micrometres to independently determine actual factory dimensions.

  Industrial Production Line Logic: The ability to match drawing specifications with factory floor realities through a functional understanding of conventional plant processing paths, such as laser cutting, sheet metal bending, structural welding, and base assembly lines.

   

  Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
