• Mechanical Engineer Plant Machinery Performance 

  Job Description:

  Responsibilities:

  System Design & Equipment Upgrades: Review mechanical drawings, 3D CAD models, piping layouts, and structural assemblies; specify materials, tolerances, and mechanical drive components (gears, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics).

  Maintenance & Reliability: Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment; perform root-cause failure analysis (RCFA) on mechanical breakdowns, pump failures, and structural fatigue.

  Process Optimization & Line Setup: Collaborate with production teams to optimize line layouts, reduce mechanical cycle times, improve fixture alignment, and implement Lean 5S standards on the shop floor.

  Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all mechanical machinery operates within safety guidelines (machine guarding, pressure vessel norms, LOTO); verify dimensional tolerances using precision metrology tools and GD&T.

  Maintenance Tracking & Spare Analytics: Track mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), spare part inventory levels, and maintenance expenditure using engineering tracking spreadsheets

   

  Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

  Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
