  Responsibilities:

  Accounts Receivable Portfolio Analytics & Ageing Reduction: Identify high-risk accounts, prioritise high-dollar claims, and implement focused recovery strategies to speed up cash flow by conducting in-depth quantitative analysis on outstanding A/R portfolios across 30+, 60+, 90+, 120+, and 180+ day ageing buckets.

  Complex Denial Root-Cause Analysis & Prevention: Identify systemic clinical, coding, registration, or billing errors; analyse trends in EOB/ERA claim denials, CARC/RARC reason codes, and clearinghouse rejections; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to put preventive front-end controls in place.

  High-Value & Complex Claim Appeals Management: Compile clinical documentation and coding justification while conducting research, preparing, and overseeing complex, multi-level appeals for high-value claims rejected for medical necessity, experimental procedures, authorisation lapses, level-of-care disputes, and timely filing limits.

  Payer Contractual Underpayment Auditing: Determine trends in payer underpayment, non-compliance with fee schedules, or incorrect line-item reductions, and file variance recovery claims by comparing posted insurance payments and contractual allowances against contractual fee schedules and payer master agreements.

  Payer Trend Analysis & Escalation Management: Monitor policy updates, payer-specific adjudications, and payment delays; organise formal escalation meetings with state insurance commissions or payer provider relations representatives for systemic claims processing delays.
