• Client Quality and Material Validation QC Engineer

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Inspection of Incoming, In-Process, and Final Products: Compare engineering drawings and quality control plans with physical, dimensional, visual, and metallurgical inspections of incoming raw materials, first-off samples, in-process production runs, and final goods.

  Coordinate measuring machines, optical profile projectors, surface roughness testers, vernier callipers, micrometres, plug/thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment are among the tools used in precision metrology and measurement systems.

  Non-Conforming Material Control & Containment: To stop suspicious parts from going downstream, identify, tag, quarantine, and record any defective or non-conforming materials. Then, take prompt lot containment measures on the shop floor.

  GD&T & Blueprint Interpretation: Examine and decipher intricate engineering drawings using the concepts of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to confirm feature controls, runout, flatness, concentricity, and true position.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Metrology and Precision Inspection Expertise: Practical experience using optical comparators, height gauges, micrometres, bore gauges, hardness testers, CMM (manual/CNC), and specialised inspection fixtures.

  Engineering Drawing & GD&T Mastery: Excellent comprehension of welding symbols, machining tolerances, GD&T feature control frameworks, and intricate engineering drawings.

  Material Inspection & Non-Conformance Management: Comprehensive knowledge of physical material quarantine processes, material testing methods, material test reports, and sampling strategies (AQL/ISO 2859).

  Measurement system analysis, gauge R&R, first article inspection reports, and fundamental statistical process control are all practical aspects of quality core tools and statistical control.
