• Electrical Engineer Coding VFD, MCC, and PLC

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Power Distribution & Electrical Infrastructure Management: Manage substations, transformers, switchgear, MCC panels, diesel generators, UPS systems, high/medium/low voltage systems, and power distribution networks.

  Control Panel Design & Electrical Troubleshooting: Identify and fix complicated problems in electrical control panels, circuit breakers, contactors, relays, VFDs, and soft starters; read and update single-line diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, and wiring layouts.

  Industrial Automation & PLC/SCADA Integration: Work with automation teams to maintain automated line operations by troubleshooting PLC inputs/outputs, sensors, instrumentation, HMI interfaces, and motor control networks.

  Energy Management & Power Quality Optimisation: Keep an eye on electrical load balances, power factor correction (APFC panels), harmonics, and power quality; put energy-saving measures in place to lower utility bills and carbon emissions.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Electrical Power Engineering & Circuit Design: Comprehensive understanding of circuit breakers (ACB/MCCB), transformers, switchgear, HV/LV power distribution, switchboard design, cable sizing, and single-line diagrams (SLD).

  Motor Control & Industrial Drives: Practical knowledge of AC/DC motors, servo drives, soft starts, DOL/Star-Delta starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control circuit troubleshooting.

  Automation, Instrumentation, and Power Quality: Proficiency in PLC I/O wiring, sensors, temperature controllers, power analysers, harmonic filters, and Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) systems.

  Electrical Safety & Regulatory Codes: Excellent knowledge of local statutory electrical inspectorate standards, earthing grid testing, and electrical safety procedures.
