  Job Description

  Who you are: 

  Oversee daily shift operations, assign operators to workstations, and manage staffing to meet scheduled shift production goals. Conducts pre-shift meetings (toolbox talks) to review safety instructions, distribute daily task cards, and prioritize work to line operators. Monitor your shop's line speeds, cycle times, and equipment uptime to proactively identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks and prevent downtime. Ensure strict quality protocols are followed on the manufacturing floor by confirming initial product inspection clearances and working with quality controllers to dispose of nonconforming parts. Works with maintenance and tool room teams during equipment failures to facilitate timely repairs and document causes of machine downtime. Accurately record shop floor data, shift results tracking, scrap/rework quantities, material consumption, and operator attendance in ERP/MES logs. Ensures compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), 5S standards, and appropriate PPE at all workstations.
