  Key Skills:

  Fundamentals of Medical Billing and Coding: Excellent knowledge of US medical billing procedures, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM coding structures, modifiers, POS codes, and NCCI revisions.

  Medical Billing Software & EHR Proficiency: Practical knowledge of electronic claims clearinghouses, Practice Management (PM) software, and medical billing.

  Data Entry Speed & High Accuracy: Outstanding typing and 10-key numeric pad data entry abilities with no room for transposition errors in coding or money fields.

  Working knowledge of the main US healthcare payers, such as Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance companies (such as Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare), and managed care plans, is referred to as payer guideline knowledge.

   

  Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
