• Industrial Design Expert and Creo Design Engineer

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Parametric 3D Modelling & Top-Down Assembly Architecture: Utilising skeleton models, master reference geometry, and strong parametric constraints to guarantee predictable regeneration behaviour, create and optimise extremely resilient 3D parts and large assembly networks with PTC Creo.

  FamilyTable & VariantManagement: To drive standardised part families and streamline intricate product configurations, create, configure, and maintain multi-tier Family Tables, user-defined features, and component parameters.

  Design for Manufacturing & Processing Alignment: Compare model configurations to actual manufacturing constraints, such as wall thickness variations for cast products, draft angles for plastic injection moulds, flat patterns for sheet metal, and cutting tool paths for CNC machining.

  Auditing for Tolerance Stack-Up and Mechanical Interference: Execute precise 1D and 2D tolerance stack-up equations across intricate mechanical joints; to identify fitment defects early, conduct frequent interference and clearance tests in Creo.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Advanced PTC Creo Environment Command: Perfect technical proficiency with PTC Creo Parametric software features, including as drawing detailing engines, Advanced Assembly Extension (AAX), Creo Sheetmetal, and Creo Surfacing.

  PTC Windchill PLM Environment Competency: The ability to effectively manage configuration rules, component linkages, promotion paths, and design file lifecycles inside PTC Windchill.

  Deep technical accuracy in reading engineering layouts, deciphering geometric control frames, and performing tolerance calculations are examples of advanced engineering blueprint and GD&T literacy.

  Cross-Functional Manufacturing Process Intuition: To connect software design with actual manufacturing, a thorough grasp of industrial plant lines is necessary.
