  Location: In And Around Chennai

   

  Your Duties:

  Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) from shop-floor teams and issue Purchase Orders (PO) for raw materials, hardware, tooling, machine spare parts, and factory supplies.

  Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors; maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL).

  Request quotations (RFQ), negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions to achieve procurement cost savings.

  Track order fulfillment, follow up with suppliers for timely dispatches, and coordinate with logistics providers to ensure zero line-stoppage scenarios.

  Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Receiving Stores for material inspection, return of non-conforming goods (RTV), and Debit Note processing.

  Manage supplier relationships, perform quarterly vendor performance evaluations (based on OTIF - On-Time In-Full, quality compliance, and price stability).

  Maintain accurate purchasing documentation, PO logs, inventory levels, and commercial records within ERP modules
