  Responsibilities:

  Shift Electrical Maintenance Supervision & Crew Leadership: Oversee shift breakdown repairs, regular machine wiring inspections, motor replacements, and control panel troubleshooting to guarantee maximum plant equipment availability. Lead and assign daily work tasks to electricians and electrical technicians.

  Upkeep and Breakdown of HV/LV EquipmentResolution: Manage maintenance and emergency repairs for diesel generators, transformers, air circuit breakers, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, UPS networks, and high-voltage and low-voltage switchgear.

  Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Scheduling: Oversee and confirm that all electrical assets' planned preventive maintenance (PM) procedures, transformer oil sampling, thermography inspections, earth pit testing, and insulation resistance tests are completed.

  Electrical Safety & LOTOEnforcement: Oversee and rigorously implement plant electrical safety procedures; guarantee complete adherence to lockout/tagout procedures, arc-flash boundaries, safe electrical permit-to-work systems, and appropriate use of electrical personal protective equipment.

   

  Required Skills: 

  HV/LV switchgear, dry/oil transformers, ACBs, MCCBs, protective relays, 3-phase induction motors, soft starters, VFDs, and emergency power systems are all examples of industrial electrical distribution.

  Electrical Schematics & Circuit Diagnostics: Excellent comprehension of industrial single-line diagrams, electrical control schematics, ladder logic diagrams, interlock schemes, and panel wiring designs.

  Team Supervision & Shift Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities to oversee shift technicians, distribute maintenance tasks efficiently, address personnel bottlenecks, promote safety compliance, and uphold good team morale.

  Plant Electrical Safety & Statutory Compliance: a strong dedication to arc-flash prevention, earthing grid integrity, electrical safety auditing, and electrical safety laws.
