  Responsibilities:

  Frontline Quality Inspection & Inspector Leadership: Assign inspection responsibilities and enforce shop-floor quality discipline while supervising daily shift quality inspectors and technicians across assembly, machining, moulding, or fabrication lines.

  First-Off Approval & In-Process Audit Execution: Conduct structured hourly line quality audits in accordance with Control Plans and Work Instructions; validate first-off part inspection approvals at shift startup or tool changes.

  Immediate Defect Containment & Quarantine Management: To stop faulty parts from escaping to consumers, identify non-conforming parts right away, issue quarantine hold notices, supervise rework operations, and oversee physical sorting activities.

  Line Quality Training & SOP Enforcement: Educate line operators on boundary samples, visual defect criteria, and SOP compliance; ensure that quality control plans and 5S standards are followed at all quality inspection stations.

   

  Required Skills: 

  Frontline Quality Control & Shop-Floor Supervision: Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage line technicians and quality inspectors in hectic manufacturing shop floors.

  In-Process Inspection & Metrology Instrument Command: Extensive hands-on expertise with interpreting engineering drawings and using precision measuring devices, such as vernier callipers, micrometres, dial indicators, height gauges, bore gauges, and surface roughness testers.

  Defect Containment & Root-Cause Troubleshooting: Practical understanding of boundary sample enforcement, non-conforming material containment techniques, defect detection, and initial 5-Why problem-solving.

  Plan for Quality System Adherence and Control Execution: Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and ISO/IATF quality procedures.
