  Who you are: 

  Create, implement, test, and manage reliable stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, triggers, and intricate SQL scripts for business relational databases. To speed up system response times, examine execution plans, find bottlenecks in queries, optimise indexing strategies (clustered/non-clustered, execution statistics), and rework slow SQL queries. Create and improve logical and physical database schemas, guaranteeing scalable data linkages, referential integrity, correct normalisation (3NF/star schema), and constraint management. Create, manage, and keep an eye on automated ETL/ELT pipelines to load, extract, and transform data from various sources into centralised data warehouses. Coordinate with database administrators on backup, restore, and patch deployments; manage user privileges; carry out data migration scripts; and enforce database security rules.
