  Job Description:

  The primary "Shift Quality Anchor, Quality Inspector Team Leader, Shop-Floor Metrology Controller & Defect Containment Guardian" in our manufacturing operations is the Quality Supervisor in Manufacturing Industries Quality Control Operations, Shift Quality Leadership, Inline Defect Containment, Process Audit Enforcement & Quality Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to oversee, manage, and carry out shift-level quality control, inspection verification, line auditing, and non-conformance containment across active production lines, while operations directors, plant heads, and quality managers create macro quality policies, QMS standards, safety guidelines, and operational frameworks.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Shift Team Leadership & Shop-Floor Metrology Mastery: Proficient in technical blueprint reading (GD&T per ASME Y14.5), precision metrology tools (verniers, micrometres, height gauges, DTIs, bore gauges), and CMM/profile projector output validation. Capable of leading shift quality inspectors.

  Practical understanding of APQP/PPAP deliverables, Control Plans, PFMEAs, Statistical Process Control (SPC), 8D problem-solving techniques, and quarantine segregation protocols is essential for quality core tools and defect containment execution.

  Audit Execution & Line Governance: Demonstrated proficiency in performing poka-yoke verification checks, in-process roaming inspections, Layered Process Audits (LPA), and enforcing shop-floor standard work compliance.

  Crisis Management & Escalation Discipline: Outstanding decision-making abilities to prioritise line clearance calls, stop non-conforming lines, manage high-pressure shifts with production teams, and carry out quick defect containment activities.
