  Job Description:

  The main "Frontline Medical Claims Follow-Up, Insurance Appeals Execution, Revenue Recovery & Denial Resolution Anchor" for our healthcare revenue cycle operations is the AR Caller Accounts Receivable, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Insurance Claim Follow-Up & Denial Management Specialist. Your main responsibilities include reviewing unpaid healthcare claims, contacting US insurance companies (Payer clearinghouses, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid), identifying reasons for claim rejection, filing appeals, and ensuring prompt reimbursements for healthcare providers. RCM managers and billing directors are in charge of overall billing compliance, provider credentialing, and financial forecasting. As the "Guardian of Cash Flow, Claim Recovery Speed, Ageing Reduction, and Zero Claim Write-Offs," you assume direct execution responsibility for converting unpaid insurance accounts receivable into actualised healthcare income.

   

  Key Duties:

  Insurance Claim Follow-Up & Payer Communication: Make outgoing calls to US health insurance payers to look into medical claims that are still pending, denied, or only partially paid.

  EOB & ERA Analysis and Denial Management: Examine Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to identify the underlying reasons for claim denials and take prompt corrective action.

  Drafting formal claim appeal letters, gathering supporting medical documents, correcting billing information, and resubmitting claims thru clearinghouses or payer online portals within the allotted time frame are all part of the appeals process.

  HIPAA Compliance & Patient Data Protection: During all payer interactions, strict adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations, security requirements for Protected Health Information, and internal compliance procedures is required.

  Billing Software Updates & Account Disposition: Provide accurate disposition notes, payment status information, anticipated payment dates, and appeal tracking IDs to medical practice management software and EHR systems.
