• Maintenance Engineer Machining & Assembly Operations

  Job Description

  Duties:

  Plant Equipment Maintenance & Machinery Overhaul: Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, such as automated assembly lines, hydraulic presses, conveyors, compressors, boilers, pumps, gearboxes, and CNC machines.

  Electrical, Automation, and PLC Troubleshooting: To restore operational readiness, identify issues with electrical control panels, PLC programs, VFDs, sensors, servo motors, relays, and industrial fieldbus networks.

  Predictive Maintenance & Condition Monitoring: To identify machine wear and avert catastrophic equipment failures, do routine condition monitoring utilising vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasound testing.

  Root Cause Failure Analysis & SpareParts Management: To reduce repair lead times, lead organised RCFA on recurrent equipment failures, carry out engineering adjustments, and maintain ideal spare parts inventory levels.

  EHS, LOTO, and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance operations adhere to lock-out/tag-out protocols, permit-to-work systems, pressure vessel inspections, and electrical safety requirements.

   

  Focus Skills:

  Comprehensive understanding of mechanical assembly, hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, pumps, compressors, bearings, lubrication systems, and electrical circuits is known as industrial machinery and systems mastery.

  Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, ladder logic, VFD drives, HMI panels, industrial sensors, and electrical distribution systems is necessary for industrial automation and instrumentation.

  Maintenance Methodologies & Reliability Engineering: A practical understanding of Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Optimisation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

  Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), machine guarding, electrical safety, permit-to-work procedures, and industrial hazard controls are all strictly adhered to.
