  Your Duties:

  Make outbound telephone calls to US insurance carriers to track the status of pending or unpaid claims.

  Analyze unpaid claims from aging reports and determine appropriate collection or resubmission strategies.

  Identify claim rejection and denial causes (e.g., coding errors, missing prior authorization, eligibility issues, non-covered services) and initiate corrective actions.

  Prepare, draft, and submit formal appeal letters along with supporting medical documentation for incorrectly denied claims.

  Access insurance web portals (e.g., Availity, Navinet, Optum) to check real-time claim status, eligibility, benefits, and payment remittance details.

  Document precise call notes, action taken, and next follow-up dates in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) billing software.

  Meet or exceed key performance metrics, including daily call targets, resolution efficiency, aging claim reductions, and collection targets while strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations
