  Responsibilities:

  Receive inbound shipments of raw materials, hardware, tooling, and spare parts, verifying physical quantities against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.

  Inspect incoming goods for transit damage or obvious defects, coordinate with Quality Assurance for incoming material clearance, and segregate rejected items.

  Store materials in designated bin locations, racks, and yards using proper material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) while maintaining First-In, First-Out (FIFO) or Batch control principles.

  Issue raw materials and production parts against authorized production job cards, material requisition slips, and BOM requirements.

  Maintain minimum stock, reorder levels, and safety stock thresholds, alerting the Purchase/PPC team proactively to prevent inventory stockouts.

  Conduct regular physical cycle counts, periodic stock audits, and reconcile physical inventory with ERP system balances (e.g., SAP MM).

  Maintain strict store safety standards, fire hazard prevention, proper material stacking limits, and 5S cleanliness across all raw material and spare parts storage areas.

  Manage scrap, obsolete inventory, and returnable dunnage/pallets, ensuring timely clearance and documentation

   

  Required Skills: 

  Practical knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control techniques (FIFO, ABC analysis, bin location systems), and material handling.

  Hands-on proficiency with ERP inventory modules (SAP MM, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and data entry using MS Excel.

  Good numerical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and integrity in maintaining accurate stock records.

  Ability to identify standard manufacturing raw materials, steel grades, fasteners, and mechanical/electrical spare parts
