  Job Description:

  The main "Quality Control Anchor, Precision Metrology Specialist, Defect Isolation Engine & Product Compliance Guardian" in each of our manufacturing facilities is the QC Engineer in Manufacturing Industries – Quality Control, Product Inspection, Precision Metrology, Defect Isolation & Quality Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to examine, confirm, test, and validate raw materials, in-process components, and completed assemblies against technical engineering drawings, material specifications, and quality standards while Quality Managers, Plant Operations Directors, and Enterprise Executives set macro quality policies, customer SLAs, regulatory compliance frameworks, and plant-wide operating goals. As the "Guardian of Dimensional Precision, Material Integrity, Non-Conformance Isolation, and Zero-Defect Shipments," you assume direct responsibility for implementing dimensional and physical quality checks to prevent non-conforming parts from passing through production lines or getting to customer accounts.

   

  Key Skills: 

  Inspection and Precision Metrology Mastery: Practical proficiency with both automatic and manual inspection instruments, including CMMs, Vernier Callipers, Micrometres, Height Gauges, Thread Gauges, Bore Gauges, and Hardness Testers, as well as physical measures.

  Engineering Drawing Interpretation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T): Excellent command of technical engineering drawings, comprehension of symbols, tolerance stack-ups, and application of GD&T principles.

  Quality Control Procedures & Material Standards: Extensive knowledge of finished goods audit procedures, line quality control gates, material testing standards, and receiving inspection standards.

  Non-Conformance Management & Material Isolation: Practical understanding of NCR paperwork, quarantine zone rules, non-conformance treatment, and root-cause data gathering.

   

  Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
