  Focus Skills:

  EOB/ERA Interpretation & RCM Math: Comprehensive knowledge of reading complicated EOB/ERA vouchers, comprehension of charge schedules, adjustment reason codes (CARC/RARC), and precise computation of co-pay/coinsurance splits.

  Medical Billing Software & Clearinghouse Navigation: Practical knowledge of clearinghouses and medical practice management systems.

  Financial Reconciliation and Attention to Detail: Excellent numerical precision to balance daily financial batches against lockbox statements and bank deposits down to the penny.

  HIPAA Compliance & Data Security: Protected Health Information (PHI) must be handled securely and strictly in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
