  Full job description
  The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures to ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.
  General Responsibilities
  Key participant in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
  Key participant in dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
  Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
  Organizes rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers
  
  Experience / Qualifications
  A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
  Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
  Additional Responsibilities / Qualifications
  
  This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment used in production.
  The successful candidate will lead equipment troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and support equipment commissioning, upgrades, and modifications to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  Candidates should be comfortable working closely with Operations, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance, maximize uptime, and support production goals.
  The ideal candidate will have -
  
  Hands-on experience maintaining and improving production equipment in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to automation and PLC-controlled systems.
  Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience driving equipment reliability improvements.
  Proven ability to support breakdown maintenance and root cause analysis are highly desirable.
