• TPM & Supply Quality Production Engineer

  Who you are: 

  Convert daily and weekly master production schedules into operational goals at the shift level; balance assembly and machining lines to minimise bottlenecks and maximise Takt time. To cut down on cycle times, setup times, and production waste, analyse manufacturing workflows, do time and motion studies, and apply lean techniques (SMED, Kaizen, Kanban). Oversee daily shift operations, distribute skilled and unskilled workers among workstations, enforce SOPs, and promote 5S discipline on the shop floor. During production runs, keep an eye on First Pass Yield (FPY) and scrap rates. Work with Quality Assurance teams to look into non-conformities and take prompt corrective action and line containment. Assist Industrial Engineers with new product introductions (NPI) and line trial runs, work with Tool Room teams on fixture/die preparedness, and coordinate with Maintenance Engineers to address equipment outages. To report manufacturing health and throughput efficiency to the Production Manager and Plant Head, trackers and spreadsheets are used to collect, monitor, and assess critical production variables, such as shift output counts, hourly target vs. actual trends, line stoppage reasons, scrap weights/cost, and manpower productivity.
