  Your Duties:

  Process Design, P&ID/PFD Development & Scale-Up: Create and update comprehensive Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) in accordance with international engineering standards; design, scale, and validate manufacturing processes from lab/pilot scale to full commercial production.

  Mass & Energy Balance & Yield Maximisation: To minimise waste from raw materials, improve reaction/mixing kinetics, and increase total product yield, conduct thorough mass balance, stoichiometry, and thermal energy efficiency calculations throughout unit activities.

  Process Optimisation, SPC, and Capability Analysis: Use statistical process control (SPC) to monitor critical process parameters (CPP) and critical quality attributes (CQA); conduct Cpk/Ppk process capability studies to reduce process variance and remove line bottlenecks.

  Process Safety Management (HAZOP & PFMEA): To identify process hazards, set up safety interlocks, and enforce environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance, lead and take part in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).

  Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, and Process Commissioning: Use 8D and 5-Why methodologies to drive systematic troubleshooting for thermal/fluid flow instabilities, out-of-spec batches, and process cycle time delays; carry out Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new chemical and processing equipment.
